As the Louisiana Community Development Relationship Manager for Woodforest National Bank, Mrs. Burbank provides lending and technical assistance opportunities to non-profit agencies and small businesses. Her community development tenture has focused on forging public-private financial partnerships for Neighborhood Housing Services of New Orleans, HRI Properties, City of New Orleans, and the Illinois Bloomington-Normal Economic Development Council. Her deep passion for supporting new business ventures was inspired while starting her career in public service as a teacher in the United States Peace Corps in Lesotho, Southern Africa and the Orleans Parish Public School System at Medard H. Nelson Elementary School for grades 3 and 5.
